Responsive gas flow control with minimal system impact

Alicat MCW & MCRW Whisper Series mass flow controllers allow you control your gas with minimal pressure drop in your process. Pressure drops are as low as 5 mbar at full scale flow rates, meaning they can control and near atmospheric pressures or on just a whisper!

The whisper series mass flow controller is repeatable and accurate with calibrations up to ±0.6% of reading accuracy. Every whisper device has a 200:1 turndown ratio with full scale flow rates starting from 0.5 SCCM and going up to 1000 SLPM.

The mass flow controller can be used as a standalone controller with the use of local display and push button keypad. The local display allows the user to see all flow data visible on one screen (mass flow, volumetric flow, absolute pressure, temperature) as well as control the flow or pressure of the gas.

RS-232 communications are standard as well as an analogue output signal such as 0-5 Vdc.

Every Alicat device is backed by the manufactures limited life time warranty and ships with a NIST traceable calibration certificate.

MCW & MCRW whisper series mass flow controllers have a maximum operating pressure of 60 PSIA. There is fully adjustable PID control valve tuning for best speed and stability whilst the MCW & MCRW can control mass flow, volumetric flow or absolute pressure with one device.
