PCT's range of high pressure variable area flow meters such as the Lake B Series, which can be used with many types of liquids and gases.
We have stocked items which for use with hydraulic oil, water and pneumatic applications which are typically calibrated for air use. Various port sizes are available including 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" and 2". All are female threaded with NPT, SAE and BSPP thread types available.
Our stainless-steel models can handle liquid pressures of up to 414 Bar whilst offering full scale flow ranges from as little as 4 litres per minute through to 550 litres per minute. The full-scale flow rates remain for both the aluminium and brass liquid flow meters but maximum pressure rating reduces to 240 bar. Pneumatic flow meters in stainless steel have a pressure rating of 69 bar whilst aluminium and brass meters offer maximum pressures of 41 bar. Full scale flow rates range from 5 SLPS through to 600 SLPS.
Standard calibration fluid for oil meters is DTE 25® @ 43°C, 0.873 sg. Water meters are calibrated on tap water @ 21°C, 1.0 sg. We can calibrate on custom oils or offer different scales for non-standard oils.
Various seal options are available for good fluid and gas compatibility.
