The Status Instruments DM720 is a compact loop powered indicator. Its small size is ideal for panel cut-outs which are 48mm x 28mm.
The loop powered display has 4 LED digits and programming is via a simple three button push button setup.
When the display is installed within the front panel and sealed it offers an IP65 ingress protection, ideal for applications requiring dust protection.
The product is loop powered meaning that no external power is supply is required, in fact it requires less than 5 volts from the current loop to operate. DM720 will accept a 4 to 20 mA input with a resolution to 0.1 mA and an input impedance of 10 Ω. It offers and accuracy of ±(0.1% of reading +3 digits).
The LED display has a range of -1999 to 9999 and each of its four digits are 10mm high. The reading rate is offered twice per second and there is an overflow indication if this occurs.
The environmental specification mean that it can operate at temperatures from -10ºC through to + 60ºC.
