Having updated the ownership of the company in 2018, business growth has been truly exceptional with the result that several new positions have now been created across our sales and service departments. These positions will ensure that we continue to give the best possible support to our customers whilst also driving the company to the next level of ambitious growth expectations.
In addition to expanding the external sales team we are also in the process of moving to considerably larger, and improved, facilities at the Hethel Engineering Centre near Norwich where we are further increasing the scope and capabilities within our calibration and service laboratory .
The Regional Sales Manager (North) will be responsible for all aspects of sales growth within the region. The target markets are diverse as they cover virtually every aspect of gas and liquid flow and pressure control within the analytical, academic, R&D and process industries. Customers can be large or small organizations and they could be designers, end-users or OEM’s. Above all, however, we share a passion for science and engineering with a vision to make the world a better place. Allocation of time would be 70% new and 30% existing business.
In addition, the role requires close cooperation with colleagues to continuously improve our marketing and customer engagement programs.
This would be a home working role with external customer visits as required. Monthly to bi-monthly visits to PCT offices in Norfolk.
The ideal candidate would have experience of Mass Flow Controllers.
External sales experience of the Process and Academic Industries. Additional experience of analytical industry OEM’s would be beneficial.
Experience of flow and pressure measurement and control.
Ethical and consultative selling skills dedicated to fulfilling the needs of the customer.
Excellent communicator – empathic and genuine.
Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
Self-motivated and driven.
Tolerant team player.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years sales experience as well as two years of experience with mass flow instrumentation.
Salary and package
£40K - £60K dependant on experience
