Rheonik RHE28 Coriolis Transmitter

Field and wall mount transmitter approved for use in hazardous areas.
Compatible with every RHM flow sensor.
Measures mass flow, density, volume and temperature within sensor.

The RHE28 is designed for field usage and so has epoxy coated aluminium as its enclosure. The enclosure is IP65/NEMA4 but can be IP66. The transmitter can measure mass flow, density, temperature and volume.

A 128x24mm display will change colour based on the health of the sensor and accuracy of the measurements given. Setups and calibrations can be password protected to prevent unauthorised alterations.

Size and weight

The whole transmitter has dimensions of 170x272x93mm and weighs 2.4kg.

Input and outputs

Two 4-20mA analogue outputs can be used either active or passive. Digital inputs are also available with 2 configurable status outputs as well as another two pulse/frequency outputs to a maximum of 10kHz.

One 4-20mA input is available for a two wire density or pressure sensor as an option. Two digital inputs come as standard. Data is communicated via Modbus RTU (RS485), HART over analogue and a USB connection to a PC is also possible.

Approvals

The transmitter is ATEX/IECEx approved for use in ordinary locations and zone 2. It has also been approved by cCSAus for use in ordinary locations and Div.2. It is also compatible with all RHM flow sensors.

Power

A power supply of 100-240 VAC (48 – 62Hz) running on 5W is needed or 12-24 VDC using 4W. Connector cables between the sensor and the RHE28 can be as long as 100m and are connected by cage clamp terminals.
