Rheonik RHE42 Coriolis Transmitter

All digital multifunctioning transmitter which can provide mass flow, volumetric flow, density and temperature measurements concurrently.

8 totalisers, 2 are none resettable and 6 for positive, negative, net flow mass or volume.

Certified approvals for use up to Zone 1 by ATEX/IECEx and CSA North America.

The RHE42 is a high performance field mount transmitter that delivers precise and quick measurements. It connects to any RHM flow sensor and simultaneously measures mass flow, volumetric flow, temperature and density.

The enclosure is constructed using powder coated aluminium and is protection class IP65/Type 4 as standard. There is the option to upgrade to IP66/67/Type 6. The enclosure is approximately 144x108x139mm.

Local display and blind transmitter versions are available. Both can be configured through RHECom software but only the local display version has a backlit LCD screen and is available to be adjusted on the transmitter itself.

Connections and output

Multiple interface connections are provided including HART, Modbus RTU, Profibus PA and Ethernet (Modbus TCP/IPv4). Two 4-20mA outputs are provided as are two pulse/frequency outputs at a maximum of 10kHz.

Power

A 12-24 VDC power supply is needed with a typical power usage of 2W but a maximum of 4W. Sensor connections can either be integral or remote with a 3/10m cable.

Approvals

The RHE42 has been ATEX/IECEx approved for use in Zones 1,2 and has been cCSAus approved for use in Class 1, Div.1 and Div.2. It also has an ambient temperature range of between -20°C and 60° with the option to increase the range to 65°C.
