Flow rate

The RHM100 is a large size sensor designed to measure high flow levels. It can measure flow up to 12000kg/min and as low as 300kg/min.

Temperature and pressure ranges

It can withstand high pressure, with a pressure rating of up to 237 bar. A wide temperature range of between -196°C and 210°C means the RHM100 can operate in extreme applications.


The sensor is highly accurate with uncertainly being only 0.1% of mass flow and highly consistent with repeatability being better than 0.05% of reading.

The unique torsion oscillator design gives stable measurements as it is resistant to noise and vibration. Due to the design having no moving parts, the RHM100 is very durable and there is low wear on the sensor.


As standard the sensor enclosure is made from stainless steel and the terminal box is made from epoxy coated aluminium. 316 stainless steel can be used to construct both the sensor and terminal.

Wetted materials used in the RHM100 include 316Ti, Alloy C22 and SuperDuplex.


The standard enclosure is IP65 whereas the optional enclosure is protection class IP65/NEMA4X. The meter is approved for use in hazardous zones with ATEX/IECEx approval in zones 0, 1, 2 and North American Approvals for Class I, Div.1 and Groups ABCD.

Typical applications

Corrosion resistant pipes mean that the sensor is suitable for abrasive applications. The main application the RHM100 is used for are plant balance and filling transports such as ships, lorries and trains.


  • Measures flow rate accurately between 300kg/min and 12000kg/min.
  • Mass flow uncertainty at 0.1% with repeatability better than 0.05%. Density uncertainty is low at 0.0025kg/l.
  • Maximum pressure ratings of 237 bar and a fluid temperature range of -196°C to 210°C.
  • Wetted materials that are used are 316Ti, SuperDuplex and Alloy C22.
  • Sensor enclosed in stainless steel as standard with an epoxy coated aluminium terminal box. 316 stainless steel is an option for both.
  • Enclosure is protection class IP65.IP66/NEMA4X protection is optional.
  • ATEX/IECEx approval for use in zone 0, 1, 2. North American approvals for Class I, Div.1 and groups ABCD.
  • All sensors are hydro tested and come with a calibration certificate.
