Rheonik RHM 40 Medium Coriolis Flow Meter

  • High pressure ratings of up to 433 bar.
  • Flow measuring range of between 15kg/min and 1500kg/min.
  • Wide fluid temperature range of -196°C and 350°C.

Flow rate

The RHM 40 is a midsize mass flow sensor with a wide accurate flow measuring range with a minimum flow of 15kg/min and a nominal flow of 1500kg/min.

Temperature and pressure ranges

The sensor has a high pressure rating of 433 bar meaning it can be used in an array of applications such as terminal transfer and filling vehicles like barges and trucks. Due to its broad temperature range of between -196° and 350°C, the RHM40 can also be used in high temperature applications.

Accuracy

Precise measurements are provided thanks to the 0.15% mass flow uncertainty and a density uncertainty of 0.025kg/liter. Measurements are consistent with a repeatability of better than 0.05% of reading.

The unique torsion oscillator design allows for supreme durability to the lack of moving parts and the low wear on the sensor. The design is also impervious to external noise and vibration meaning greater accuracy.

Materials

There a variety of wetted materials that can be used in construction. Tanalum,316Ti, SuperDuplex and Alloy C22 are all available to be used while the seals are produced from PTFE.

The sensor enclosure material is stainless steel as standard but is available with the option of 316 stainless steel. The terminal box is made as standard from epoxy coated aluminium but is also available as 316 stainless steel.

Standard enclosures are protection class IP65 but there is the option of protection class IP66/NEMA4X.

Approvals

The RHM40 is approved for use in hazardous areas by ATEX/IECEx in Zones 0,1,2 and has North American approval for use in Class I, Div. 1 and Groups ABCD.
