Flow

We offer a complete range of Flow Meters

Here at PCT we can offer you our complete range of flow meters that are all in one place. Our products range from calorimetric meters to vortex meters, which shows that we are willing to provide a product for whatever flow meter need you may have. For example, our rotameters can be used for a variety of pipe sizes, ranging from ¼” to 2”, and the gas meters that we have available range from 0.04m3/h up to a large flow rate of 160m3/h. We offer from a very basic flow meter for indication only to a mass flow meter which is fully pressure and temperature compensated.

We also have a miscellaneous section that will provide you with a range of flow meter accessories that would be needed. These include battery packs, cables and remote displays in order to make sure that you have a constantly working flow meter. At PCT we offer a product for use with most types of liquids and gasses, due to our extensive range of these meters.

What are flow meters used for?

These products are vital in determining the flow rate or the quantity of a gas or liquid that is moving through a pipe. Our extensive range allows for us to supply for most situations in which a flow meter is needed, as each of these scenarios has a different requirement. You’re sure to find the right product for your job by looking at our list below.

Many types of meters or accessories are available at PCT, which makes us confident that we can supply the customer with the best and most suitable product for you, even if this may not be an actual flow meter!

Frequently asked questions

PCT offers a comprehensive range of flow meters including Coriolis, mass flow meters and controllers, ultrasonic, turbine, thermal mass, electromagnetic, variable area and rotameter technologies. Each type is suited to different fluids, flow ranges, and industrial applications.
Coriolis flow meters measure mass flow directly by utilising the Coriolis effect and detecting changes in vibration within the sensor’s tubes. They're ideal for high-accuracy applications, including chemical dosing, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical processes.
Mass flow meters (like Coriolis or thermal mass) measure the actual mass of fluid passing through, regardless of temperature or pressure. Volumetric flow meters (like turbine or variable area) measure volume, which can vary with changing conditions. Differential pressure mass flow meters measure the volumetric flow rate and then convert this to a mass flow reading.
Yes. Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters offer non-intrusive measurement by attaching to the outside of the pipe. They’re perfect for temporary installations or situations where the fluid must remain untouched.
For very low flow rates, mass flow meters (like differential pressure and thermal) and Coriolis meters offer exceptional sensitivity. These are used in gas flow monitoring, laboratory dosing, and microfluidic systems.
Yes. PCT supplies flow meters with chemically resistant materials like PTFE, FFKM, stainless steel, and ceramics, making them suitable for acids, solvents, and other harsh fluids.
Absolutely. PCT offers specialised solutions for both. For example, mass flow meters are ideal for gas measurement, while electromagnetic and turbine meters work well for liquid flows. Coriolis meters and controllers and Rotameters can be used with both gases and liquids.
Our flow meters are used across industries such as analytical, water treatment, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, semiconductors, Research and Development, and OEM machinery. We offer both inline and clamp-on solutions to match each sector’s needs.
Yes. Most of our flow meters support digital outputs (IOLINK, Modbus, RS485, Ethernet protocol (EIP, ECAT, PROFINET, MODTCPIP)) as well as traditional analogue outputs (0-5 VDC, 4–20mA, pulse). These can be easily integrated into SCADA, PLC, or remote monitoring systems.
Yes. Our expert team will help you choose the right flow meter based on fluid type, flow range, accuracy, pipe size, and installation requirements. We also support custom OEM configurations and product pairing with other instrumentation.
