The Elster BK-G4 and BK-G4T are a high quality, residential diaphragm gas meter for use with natural gas, town gas, propane, butane, air and inert gases. The residential diaphragm gas meter BK-G4 meets the highest demands with respect to accuracy of measurement and safety.
The stroke of the diaphragms is pneumatically stopped and therefore ensures both low bearing loads and a quiet operation.
The BK-G4 gas diaphragm meter is designed to allow a maximum flow rate of 6 m3/hr and a maximum operating pressure of 0.5 bar.
The synthetic diaphragm, moulded in stadium shape, and the measuring chambers used, ensure precise and stable measurement, including at minimum flow.
The diaphragm assembled and calibrated pneumatically, ensure a low load loss and minimum noise. The design, the materials and its components ensure the highest standard of quality of the device.
The gas source must always be installed on the left side or inlet side of the meter and is available with either a 152.4mm, 220mm or 250mm distance between connection centres.
Threaded connections available include ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼” and 2”.
The BK-G4 is MID approved, as well as Firesafe (HTB) up to 0.1 bar according to EN 1359.
Standard temperature ranges are from-10 °C to +40 °C.
The temperature compensation facility of the BK-G4T ensures via a bimetallic element that the stroke of the diaphragms is adapted to the current gas temperature.
Compatible with the IN-Z61 Low Frequency pulse output
