The Superstatic 440 is the heat and cooling meter with a unique fluidic oscillation measuring principle which allows it to be used with over 50 different cooling liquids (Glycols).
The heat and cooling meter Superstatic 440 is designed and optimised to measure the consumption of thermal energy in any district heating, district cooling or building management system for the individual billing of thermal energy cost and can be easily integrated in any Smart Metering Environment.
The Superstatic 440 is capable of measuring flow rates from 1 m3/h up to a 1500 m3/h across a range of line sizes from DN15 through to DN500. No moving parts ensure continued operation and corrosion resistant materials are used throughout and for line sizes up to DN40 there is no requirement for straight sections of pipe work. Due to the design there is no influence to magnetite fouling.
The heating and cooling meter can be used across a wide range of temperatures from -20°C to +130°C.
Meters are approved to MID EN 1434 class 2 homologation for complete range DN 15 – DN 500.
Meters are available with a flange connection on all sizes and threaded connections are available in ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼” and 2” sizes.
Recalibration and maintenance of the heat meter Superstatic 440 is now easy, quick and cost efficient. The MID homologation defines that only the measuring head must be recalibrated.
Can be installed virtually anywhere as the same meter is used for horizontal, riser and down pipe installations.
The large display on the Superstatic 440 ensures for easy reading with many flow, temperature and energy values available through the display. The push button setup makes easy navigation of the main menu where accumulated, daily, monthly, average and maximum values may be seen. Display units available are:
