- View leakage rate in LPM or cost in £££'s
- Photograph leaks
- Create reports in accordance with ISO 50001
CS Instruments LD500 / 510 leak detector with integral camera allows you to view leaks within your gas pipework as either a leak rate in LPM (Litres per minute) or the actual cost in GBP. The cost of the leak can be displayed in what it will be costing you in GBP per year showing live cost savings which can be achieved.
The battery powered leak detector offers up to 9 hours continuous operation, during operation photographs can be taken using the touch screen allowing leaks to be identified and tagged.

Accessories
The parabolic mirror accessory can be used for leak detection at greater distances (3 meters – 12 meters) where pipework work is not accessible for leak detection.
The acoustic trumpet accessory which is the standard tool is ideal for detecting leaks at medium distances (0.2 – 6 meters). The laser integrated onto the acoustic trumpet allows for leaks to easily be pin pointed and marked.
The straightening tube accessory is for use to detect leaks at shorter distances (0 – 0.2 meters). This maybe required when there are many pipes or components which are close together.
For even shorter distances to the pipe work (up to 0.05 metres) the gooseneck accessory can be used. This is ideal when pipes and components are very close together.
Store leak data on the device or in the cloud
When a leak is identified on the LD500 / LD510 a photograph maybe taken of the leak, it can be tagged on the sport with a LeakTag number and data can be stored on the detector in accordance with ISO 50001.
When all leaks have been detected on a site audit, the data can be downloaded from the leak detector and uploaded into the CS Leak Reporter software which allows for full administration of a company, building or project. A report can then be created of the audit.
Cloud based solutions from CS instruments are also available.
