EGE Liquid Flow Sensor ST Series Probe

The EGE ST series is a liquid flow probe which operates on the thermodynamic principle available with a ½” BSP connection with a sensor length of 48mm.

When used with water the EGE ST series probe has a detection range of 1 to 150 centimetres per second (cm/s), when used with oils this is 3 to 300 cm/s.

EGE ST Probes are available in either stainless steel or PTFE wetted materials.

Stainless steel ST Series probes have a typical start up time from 2 to 15 seconds and a reaction time of 1 to 13 seconds. Maximum pressure ratings are up to 100 bar.

PTFE ST Series probes have a typical start up time from 40 to 100 seconds and a reaction time of 10 to 50 seconds. Maximum pressure ratings are up to 5 bar.

Dependant on model the ST series has an IP67 or IP68 ingress rating.

ST probes either have a 2 metre cable or M12 connector and can be used with the SKM or SKZ series of amplifiers.
