Dynasonics TFX 500w Transit Time Flow Meter

Dynasonics® TFX-500w transit time ultrasonic flow meter is the flow meter of choice for non-contacting water applications. Ultrasonic transducers are clamped to the outside of the pipe allowing the ultrasonic flow meter to offer quick and easy flow measurement without the need for cutting into your pipework keeping install costs to a minimum. Maintenance costs are further reduced due to the lack of moving parts.

The TFX500 has been designed for use on a wide range of pipe sizes up to 10” with fluid temperatures available up to 121⁰c.

Flow accuracy is typically ±1% of reading (see the technical datasheet for full details) with repeatability ±0.2% of reading.

Featuring a local display which offers both flow rate indication and a flow totaliser. The transit time flow meter can measure flow in both directions. The local keypad can be used for easy customisation and configuration. The meter may also be configured using the Dynasonics® software and connecting to the USB, type mini-B port.

TFX-500w requires a 9 – 28 VDC power supply and offers a large range of digital and analogue outputs including pulse output configured for alarms or a totaliser, frequency output and 4 – 20 mA.

Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP network connectivity is also available.
