The FA 510/515 series of dew point sensors from CS Instruments have been designed for accurate measurement of residual moisture measurement in compressed air and gases. The dew point can be measured in the compressed air after the adsorption drier, membrane dryer or refrigeration dryer.
The FA 510 / 515 series can measure the residual moisture or dew point on other process gases such as oxygen, nitrogen or argon.
The dew point sensor is available as either a 3 wire device (FA 510) or a 2 wire device (FA 515) with both devices featuring a 4 – 20 mA analogue output and optional Modbus-RTU (RS 485).
The latest sensor technology offers extremely stable readings and features a condensation resistant design. The operating temperature range for sensors designed for use in adsorption dryers is -80 °c to + 20 °c with the refrigeration dryer model offering a working temperature range of -20 °c to + 50 °c.
All devices offer a 4 – 20 mA output for the dew point across the above temperature range, devices with Modbus-RTU also offer additional data via the digital interface which includes:
