Premier Control Technologies is Longer’s sole distributor for the United Kingdom and Ireland, supporting customers with local stock, technical selection and after sales service. We first announced the partnership in 2020 and it has been continually renewed; PCT has been distributing Longer equipment across the British Isles since 2020.
Founded in 1997, Longer Precision Pump Co., Ltd. develops and manufactures precision fluid transfer equipment—from peristaltic and syringe pumps to OEM modules and tubing—for laboratory, medical, bioprocess and industrial use. Longer is a wholly owned subsidiary of Halma plc, with a sustained focus on product quality, safety and application specific solutions.
Longer’s peristaltic line spans basic BT/WT and industrial G series drives for dependable flow control, L series “Intelligent” pumps with touch interfaces and calibration tools, and dispensing variants for repeatable volume dosing. For regulated environments, the dPOFLEX family adds biopharmaceutical oriented pumps and PFU/PFS filling systems, complemented by a comprehensive library of pump heads (e.g., YZ, DG/DMD multi channel, KZ quick load, BPH/PFH for precise filling) to cover everything from micro flows to multi litre transfer.
For instrument builders, Longer offers compact OEM peristaltic solutions including the 80 series fixed speed modules, L500 BLDC drive, and T series platforms that combine small footprint with robust mechanics. Integration is simplified by setpoint input modules, footswitches and dedicated dispensing controllers, letting engineers pick a motor/head pair and control topology that matches their electronics and duty cycle.
Where smooth, continuous micro flows are needed with higher differential pressures, the WT3000 micro gear pump series provides a compact alternative with stainless steel wet ends. The breadth of Longer’s ecosystem—drives, heads, tubing and controllers—lets PCT configure complete, application ready fluid paths for R&D labs, pilot skids and production fill lines with UK/Ireland support built in.
