Equilibar’s Research Series back pressure regulators extend their unmatched precision to higher temperature applications such as those in the petrochemical and catalyst research laboratories, this is the High Temperature HT Series.
Many of the high temperature variants within the research series of back pressure regulators can be fitted with different diaphragm materials to offer temperature ratings up to 648°C.
Control flow over 100,000:1 turndown ratio. Use just one Equilibar back pressure regulator to replace multiple control valves within your process.

Common process applications and industrial uses include:
Some complex manufacturing processes, often with high temperatures, high pressures or widely fluctuating flow rates, require flow control solutions capable of such extreme service. Equilibar® direct-sealing diaphragm valves are well known for their pressure control capability, however, these multi-orifice valves are now being adapted to control the flow rate in complex scenarios. They offer advantages for applications that cannot be solved by traditional methods. A proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller monitors input from a flow transmitter (FT) and adjusts the output to the electronic pilot regulator. This electro-pneumatic transducer (E/P) translates the electronic signal from the PID into a pressure signal for the pilot controller. Flow is decreased by raising the pilot pressure and flow increased by lowering the pilot pressure; both relative to the media pressure.
The High Temperature HT Series is widely used in the following industries:
