Equilibar’s Research Series back pressure regulators solve critical performance problems for laboratory and process research gas and liquid systems across both the UK and worldwide. They are especially popular for applications such as catalysis research and reservoir core analysis.
Equilibar aim to meet every demanding research condition by being extremely flexible and accommodating regarding trim styles and diaphragm materials. Wetted materials include Hastelloy, SS316L, PTFE, and FFKM (Kalrez) amongst others. The Research Series operates throughout an incredibly wide range of flow, pressure, and temperature regimes. Typical temperature ranges for any of our standard models are 150C, 200C (with viton seals and metallic diaphragm) and 327C (with Kalrez seals and metallic diaphragm). Our special High Temperature Model extends this capability up to 450C by utilizing Grafoil sealing gaskets.
Port sizes available for this series include 1/16″, 1/8″ and 1/4″ to meet most low flow / low dead volume requirements. For larger port sizes and flow rates see Equilibar’s General Service Series and Industrial Service Series.
