Single-stage High Pressure Reducing Regulator

The 082 series from Drastar is a ¼” NPT single stage high pressure reducing regulator designed for use with gas cylinders.

Drastar’s patented “push and lock type handle” allows easy and stable operation of the high pressure reducing regulator. “Locking” the pressure is easily done by pushing down the handle and this will prevent any slight change of the pre-set pressure value, typically from vibration on the gas line or ambient changes. Unlocking by pulling back the handle allows the user to make adjustments to the pressure set point.

Inlet and Outlet pressures

The high pressure reducing pressure regulator is for use with inlet pressures of 6000psi / 420 bar. Full scale outlet pressures available are:

• 650 psig (48 bar), range: 7 – 650 psig (5 – 48 bar)
• 1000 psig (70 bar), range: 10 - 1000 psig (7 - 70 bar)
• 2000 psig (140 bar), range: 20- 2000 psig (15 – 140 bar)
• 3000 psig (210 bar), range: 30 - 3000 psig (20 - 210 bar)
• 4500 psig (310 bar), range: 30 4500 psig (20 - 310 bar)

Port sizes

The 082 series is in a 4 port configuration.

Body materials

Body materials are either brass or 316L stainless steel with a Teflon valve seat as standard and optional Vespel.
