DRA100 series from Drastar is a single stage low pressure reducing regulator for high purity applications.
Surfaces finishes available are to B.A. 25Ra, E.P. 10 Ra or E.P. 5 Ra microinch.
The body is all 316L stainless steel with options available offering various Ra finishes.
Diaphragm material is also 316L stainless steel as standard with the option of Hastelloy-C, the diaphragm is non-tied.
Seat materials available are PCTFE, Teflon or Vespel.
All manufacturing processes such as cleaning, welding, assembly, testing, and packing of series 2200 pressure regulators are performed in a class-100 and class-10 clean room.
Two inlet pressures are available to allow for a maximum inlet pressure of either 42 bar or 210 bar (600, 3000 PSI).
The outlet pressure range can be controlled to:
Connections available are 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, and 3/4” VCR type with varying Cv values for low to high flow rates. Threadless connections are also available.
Drastar’s patented “push and lock type handle” allows easy and stable operation of the low pressure, high flow pressure reducing regulator. “Locking” the pressure is easily done by pushing down the handle and this will prevent any slight change of the pre-set pressure value, typically from vibration on the gas line or ambient changes. Unlocking by pulling back the handle allows the user to make adjustments to the pressure set point.
Drastar’s regulators are oil-free, with all pressure regulators being assembled, cleaned, inspected, and packed in clean-rooms equipped with clean bench, helium detector, particle counter, ultrasonic cleaner, ultrapure water system, vacuum packaging machine.
