ISPS from Alicat Scientific is a Zone 0 certified pressure transducer with can be used with a wider range of corrosive and non-corrosive process fluids. The pressure controller can be used with absolute, gauge or differential pressure control processes. Elastomers available for ISPS includes FKM, FFKM or EPDM choices.
The full scale pressure range is from 1 – 3000 PSI or pressure measurement applications up to 200 bar! Standard accuracy is to +/- 0.25% of full scale with a high accuracy option available to +/- 0.125% of full scale.
Standard full scale pressure ranges available are 1 / 5 / 15 / 30 / 100 / 500 / 1000 / 1500 and 3000 PSI, custom pressure ranges are also available. The pressure measurement range is 0.01 – 100% of the full scale pressure range, therefore a 500 PSI pressure transducer would therefore offer a 10000:1 turndown ratio with a measurement range of 0.05 – 500 PSI.
The ISPS Zone 0 pressure transducer has a typical warm-up time of less than one second. The sensor response time is less than one millisecond with a typical indication response time of less than ten milliseconds.
ISPS series features RS-232 serial communications as standard with optional RS-485 or Modbus RTU (over either RS-232 or RS-485). A traditional analogue 4 – 20 mA output is also available where an output signal is requirement.
All ISPS devices from Alicat come with a backlit monochrome LCD display which displays many of the features such as pressure, setpoint and valve drive percentage.
