FMI Q1 Series Pump Head

The Q1 Series are a range of pump head modules that are manufactured from a variety of materials to suit the needs of specific applications. Materials used in construction include 316 Stainless steel, carbon, ceramic, zirconia, ETFE and PVDF. Each series features differences in either the piston, cylinder liner or cylinder case, a summary has been provided below.

Fluid compatibility is maximized by the range of materials available with the ability to easily swap between pump heads and pump drives to adjust flow rates. Some variants include the option of a flush port/wash gland to be fitted to the pump head.

The maximum operating pressure that can be used with the pump heads is 100psig (6.9 bar) but this will change by changing materials. Maximum fluid temperature also varies with module but can be as high as 177°C.

All Q1 series of pump head offer a minimum dispense resolution of 0.016 ml/rev and a maximum of 0.32 ml/rev.
