The Mark 608IS gas pressure regulator has been specially designed for low pressure applications.

Applications

It is a self-contained regulator meaning that no external power source is required and ideal for use in gas burners or for tank blanketing.

A 360° body orientation means that it can be installed at any position within the line and once in the line both the seat and the plug can be inspected without having to remove the body from the line. The plug is elastomer and it provides an ANSI Class VI shutoff.

Pressure and temperature ranges

It features a heavy-duty design that allows the emergency outlet pressure to reach 100% of inlet pressure without damaging the valve. Inlet pressure can go up to 10 bar with a lowest setpoint of 1" w.c. to 3.5 psi as the highest. It operates within a temperature range of between –29°C and 93°C.

Materials and sizes

A range of construction materials are available with either a carbon steel or stainless steel body and a stainless steel seat. It can be sized between ¾” and 1¼" with threaded or flanged ends.
