Mark 501 and Mark 502 Series High Flow Back Pressure Regulator

The Mark 501 and 502 are designed to be used for applications that do not want the next highest line size but need a high Cv rating. Cv rating up to 70 can be achieved by the high flow Mark 502.

A self-operated sliding gate seat provides less turbulence and noise during use. A shorter stroke than a plug or globe design supplies a faster response as well as less build-up.

Body and trim materials

Available sizes are 1-½" and 2" and body materials that are used in construction include ductile iron, bronze, carbon steel and stainless steel. Trim materials for 303SST comes for standard on ductile iron, Bronze, Carbon steel valves and for 316SST as standard for stainless steel valves.

End connections

End connections are threaded (FNPT, BSPT, BSPP), ANSI flanges (150#, 300#) and DIN flanges (PN10/16, PN25/40). The diaphragm is manufactured from stainless steel as standard but can be Buna-N, Jorlon or Viton.

Shutoff and setpoint ranges

The shutoff is ANSI Class IV and both the Mark 501 and 502 have been ATEX certified. The setpoint ranges between 0.03 bar and 10.3bar.
