The SV Series sanitary valve has been specifically designed to be used in processes that involve clean steam or hot WFI to control the flow into a sample cooler. A Perlast seat seal which is FDA USP Class VI compliant ensures a very long service life and a bubble tight shut-off. It can be installed in a vareity of orientations but is fully draining when it has been installed with the handle facing up or to the side.

Temperature and pressure ranges

A high maximum operating temperature and pressure rating of 176°C (347°F) and 116 psig (8.0 barg) respectively allows the valve to be used in a range of processes. The valve can be sized between ¼" and 4" with the ends being sanitary Tri-clamps.

Body and materials

The main valve body is manufactured from 316L stainless steel with the valve stem also being constructed from the same stainless steel. The stem seal is FDA and USP Class VI complaint Viton and features an easy to use Polyethermide handle. Internal wetted parts are given a SF5, 20 Ra µin (0.5 µm Ra) electropolish finish with the external parts being given a satin polish.
